World Class Trophy For The 1st Football Cup In Pangasinan

Finally, we have already in our hands the official world class trophy for the upcoming 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup which will be held on April 26, 2009 at Pangasinan State University, Lingayen, Pangasinan.

I would like to officially publish the trophy to be awarded to the winner on the aforementioned upcoming cup. In this manner, it will also inspire the teams who will participate in the first time event in the sports of football in Pangasinan. This will give them the encouragement to play in their best to bring with them the world class football trophy.

The trophy to be awarded is designed which has been inspired by the World Cup trophy. It is derived from the original trophy in World Cup by an artist.

I am hoping that just like the upcoming fight between Pacquiao vs Hatton, each team will its best to win home the bacon.

Good luck to everyone. May this be the start of the development of a good football club in Lingayen and in Pangasinan as a whole. We are also encouraging other teams in nearby towns and provinces to join our first ever 7 a side football cup.

Surely, this will allow us to let other people know that football really exist in Pangasinan.
