It is OFFICIAL! Join the 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup
The 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup is now officially approved by the Honorable Mayor of Lingayen, Ernesto “Jonas” Castañeda, Jr. when we had our meeting in his house today dated March 8, 2009 at exactly 5:30 in the afternoon. The Honorable Mayor immediately approved our proposal in conducting the said event on April 26, 2009 at the Pangasinan State University football field, Lingayen, Pangasinan.
The support from the Mayor’s office to sponsor the football cup will be of great help to make this activity a success. Truly, our Honorable Mayor is indeed have its passion in sports as he already graced the launching of this 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup.
He kindheartedly donated financial support for the construction of 3 new pairs of small field football goals. These 3 pairs of new goals will be used in the said cup consisting 3 small football fields in the PSU football field, Lingayen, Pangasinan. These goals will also serve as a project of Lingayen Football Club which will serve as venue for the grassroots to develop and improve their skills in playing football.
