Congratulations to Benguet State University Football Club
The Benguet State University Football Club is the CHAMPION for the 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup.
The BSU FC played in bracket B where they managed to advance in the quarter finals as they were among the top four teams in their bracket in the elimination round. Among the top four teams that advanced in quarter finals in their bracket are Baguio United Football Club team 1, Manaoag Football Club team 1, and Pangasinan State University team varsity.
In the quarter final round, the BSU FC were able to beat their opponent the Baguio United team 2 in the penalty shoot out which allows them to advance in the semi final round with the Baguio United team 1 ending up winning the match again with the final score of 2-1.
The BSU FC beat the Manaoag Football Club with the final score of 2-1. The final match is very exciting though it was raining hard during the match. Once again, congratulations to the Benguet State University Football Club for winning the 1st Mayor Castañeda Football Cup.
